LinkedIn Engagement, Step 5: From Commenter to Creator (Without the Stress)

4 min readApr 11, 2025

When John was in college, he waited tables at a bustling downtown brunch spot.
At first, he barely spoke. He took orders, smiled, and hoped for the best. Meanwhile, the other servers were crushing it — chatting with customers, getting big tips — making it all look effortless.

One day, a regular waved him over.
“You’re always so nice,” she said. “But we never talk to you. You’ve got good energy. You should use it!”

So John started engaging. Sharing little stories, asking questions, cracking jokes.
His confidence built. His tips grew. And, suddenly, he wasn’t just “the quiet one.” He was someone people remembered.

That’s what content creation on LinkedIn can do for you.

Nope.

Here’s what content creation on LinkedIn really is:
Sharing your voice, ideas, and perspective in a way that invites connection.
