As a professional writer, I face the same challenge as creatives: will my job be replaced by AI? In my case, the answer is, "Yes, it will." (I write resumes and LinkedIn profiles.) It's just a question of when. As such, I've thought long and hard about AI, arriving at the conclusion that I do not wish to be a typewriter repair-person. In other words, I don't wish to be left without work. In solving my problem, I'm finding ways to work with it, for example, by becoming a master of collecting the right data and asking the right questions to generate the responses I need. I've become obsessed and at this point don't know how I ever lived with out it. I'm glad the museum included this AI-created art in its collection; it's a sign of the times. Like it or not, the people who will succeed in the future are those who learn to build collaborative relationships with AI rather than fighting against it.
